I only have information regarding my 2x great grandparents from an obituary. Thomas Gannon was born 23 Dec 1838 and his Obituary says he was born in county Mayo. There is no specific town. He was married to Eliza Kearns who was born 06 May 1846 in Ireland, but I do not know where. They were married in somewhere in Mayo in 1862 and immigrated to St. Louis,Missouri, USA by 1864. I have found many DNA relatives in the Westport area but cannot find any Eliza Kearns or Thomas Gannons in any of their trees. Any help finding out more information would be fantastic. I am attaching a photo of Thomas Gannon, but I have never seen a photo of Eliza.
Thanks,
Becky Harrington

Becky:
Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
Gannon and Kearns are Mayo/Galway surnames primarily. I was unable to find the marriage record on Roots Ireland or Find My Past and the marriage occurred just before civil registration started in 1864. I assume you have looked for names of parents on the death records for Thomas and Eliza?

I have not found their death records but on find a grave, someone has indicated that Thomas' parents are Patrick and Winnifred Galliher. I have not found anything to confirm this information, however, Winnie is a popular name in the following generation, so that could be true but we have no Patricks in the following generations.
I have no information on Eliza's parentage.
Thanks for your help
