I am looking for any information regarding my great grandfather Hugh McGrath (McGraw). His parents were Hugh McGraw and Mary McAlindon. Hugh married Martha Traynor on November 3,1877 in the Roman Catholic chapel of Killyleagh, County Down. His residence was described as Maymore and hers as Killyleagh. Hugh emigrated to the United States in 1887 and Martha followed in 1889. They had 6 children and lived in McKees Rocks, PA.
I was wondering if the Chapel in Killyleagh is still standing? I also hope to find some records for Hugh's parents Hugh and Mary. Any information you might be able to provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Clara

Killyleagh RC chapel is in the RC parish of Kilmore. It’s records start in 1837. There appears to be a copy on the rootsireland site (subscription). PRONI and the National Library of Ireland don’t have a copy.
The chapel appears to be St Mary Star of the Sea in Irish St, Killyleagh. Judging by photo on the internet the original building is still there though there is now a modern replacement beside it.

Townland where Hugh was living when he married is sometimes called Moymore.

Hi Clara
I may have some connection to McGraw. I know killyleagh and maymore. Parish records are in crossgar parochial house. They are not as yet on the national library of Ireland site.
I believe a McGraw was a witness to my grandfather's marriage.
I'll help if I can
