I am looking for any information on my Irish ancestor. My 5th Great grandfathers name was James Robbins, also though there is not record he may have gone by Richard James Adolphus Robbins, he was born around 1786. He was married to Anne Moran also know as Catherine or Cathern Moran, born in 1790. There son, my 4th great grandfather was Patrick James Robbins, born in 1812. 2 other children that we know of where Fannie Robbins and Richard Robbins. All where born in Lisheen, County Galway. Looking for any information that would help trace my family line back beyond James Robbins. Thanks for you times.

You don't say what parish Lisheen is in and there are a number of Lisheen townlands in County Galway.
If Lisheen that you refer to is in Beagh, the records only start there in 1850. If you have further information, would you please post it here and we can try to assist you with your query.
