I'm looking for information about my Great grandfather Patrick Glasson
Born in Leixlip 1864 ?
His parents were Patrick Glasson and Mary Anditt (possibly)
He left Ireland around 1881 to live in Birkenhead and changed his name to Lawson.
He died 1935 registered Patrick Glasson

Rootsireland.ie has a baptism record for Patrick on 21st August 1864 where his birth is listed as 13th August 1864 in Leixleip , Co. Kildare. His parents are listed as Patrick Glassen and Mary Ardiff. His sponsors were Thomas Gough and Anne Haly. The family were Roman Catholic.
Patrick had a brother Stephen baptised on 20th Dec 1868. His sponsors were Patrick McDonagh and Sarah Navin. I can't see a marriage record for Patrick and Mary.

I have two more questions concerning this information
Does it state which church he was baptised in on 21st of Aug?
Lastly you have spelt Glasson with an 'e' (Glassen) is this how it is spelt on the transcript ?
