Great Grandparents family

I am trying to trace my great grandfathers family. My great grandfather was called Patrick Murphy (born around 1892) in we believe the Fermoy area more specifically the Mitchelstown area. He married my great grandmother Catherine (nee Casey or Carey). Unfortunately I can find several records for a marriage between Patrick Murphy and Catherine Casey and Catherine Carey between 1909 and 1916. When Patrick and Catherine's son Edmund (my grandfather) was born 1920 they were living in Mulberry. I believe Catherine died mid-late 1960 in Mulberry and Patrick approx 10 years earlier.

Any information/help in finding out names/dates/likely buriel places etc would be greatly appreciated.

I have attached the section of my grandfathers birth certificate which lists Catherine's maiden name as I am unable to determine if it is Casey or Carey

I have also posted in the Mallow parish as I have been told that either Catherine or Patrick may have had connections to here

Joanne my grandfather was Patrick Murphy's wee brother (Paul/Peter Murphy). They had a brother James in between. If you send me an email address I'll send you a copy of the information I have. You have some of the details - my Mum was Hannah called after her grandmother Johanna. My mum died in 2009 aged 83. She remembered your dad well as he often visited his brother in Glasgow.

Luke Murphy married Johanna Gorman in Mitchellstown - that's the correct one. I've been searching for ages for some details of that side of the family - so here's hoping that it is definitely the right branch of the Murphy's. Looking forward to hearing from you.
