This talk will consist of those who fought and died in the Great War from Roscrea. It will include details and stories of the soldiers from our locality who went overseas to participate in the fighting.

There will be a display of documents, medals and records of 109 men from Rocrea and district (including from Clonakenny) who lost their lives.

People are invited to bring along any items they may have from that era, including Irish medals, and identification may be possible.
