I have very little to go on, but I just found my ggg grandmother was married (in Yonkers NY) a second time to Patrick Flynn.

I know he was born, according to the information I have, in 1817, in Waterford. I believe he immigrated in 1847. I don't know his parents names.

I realize this is very little information, but if anyone has a Patrick Flynn in their family; perhaps those dates may match?

    Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

Roots Ireland has 23 baptismal records for Patrick Flynns in Co. Waterford from 1812-1822. The only one in 1817 is below.

Consider this record as a lead.

You may want to consider autosomal DNA testing.

  • Sherrie,

It is likely that they remained in Yonkers after their wedding, so I would suggest you check the census records from that period.

Also, Yonkers maintained their own bmd records prior to 1914, and genealogical copies are available through the City Clerk. See https://goo.gl/LbYqEG. The 2 page form to request copies is at http://www.yonkersny.gov/home/showdocument?id=3254

The basic cost per record is $22, but if you have to search more than 3 years, the cost can be much more.
