Andrew came from Garrydaniel, near Monamolin, south of Gorey in northern Cty Wexford. He and Anastasia left with their first two children, Margaret and Andrew, ~1825, possibly from New Ross. They settled in Frampton, Quebec, with several others from their home area, severely affected by the 1798 Rebellion. Most of their eight children stayed, while one headed to California. Most of the next generation spread further east in Canada and to Massachusetts and New Jersey, leaving Frampton a small and shrinking town.
