Bridget Reynolds Keenan (1802-1877) never emigrated from Ireland and died in the townland of Ardgallagher, County Roscommon where she had raised her family with her husband Peter Keenan (1797-1866). Of her 6 children (Bridget, Michael, Catherine, Peter, Eliza and Joseph M.), only her youngest son Joseph M.Keenan emigrated to the U.S. in 1870, settling in Lexington, Kentucky, USA where he lived out his life.
