Ellen Lynes/Lyons (birth year that I have is 1823) married Michael Walsh and raised her 4(?) children in Knockbrack, near Knocknagashel, County Kerry. She and Michael had 4 children that I know of: Ellen (Nellie) b. 1865, Catherine and Johanna (twins) b. 1868 and Thomas b. 1872. Their home was passed down to cousin by marriage with the last name Brosnan. He was still living in the family house in the early 1960's. I would greatly appreciate any information they may have on my Walsh/ Lynes family. Thank you!

I may be able to help - may - my grandmother left me a handwritten 1918 genealogy she and her father, James O'Sullivan of Knocknagashel, Kerry, Ireland. Most of the information - I only have very grainy copy - is unable to be be verified as in most cases records didn't exist.

[I hired and paid 500 euros to an idiot genealogist who promised to find my Kerry ancestors but was more interested in writing her book and gave me NO helpful information and actually proved she knew nothing.]

There was ALOT of intermarriage between my O'Sullivans, Keane's, O'Connors, Murphy's, Walsh's - I am still trying to untie all of them.
