My 2x great grandmother is Hanora Kerley baptized 5 Apr 1831 in St Michaels’s Catholic Church in Limerick city. I have a baptism record showing the father was Cornelius and mother Judith Hanrahan. I believe, but have no documentation, she was from Kilmurry parish in Limerick. I base this on the fact she was married and had her children here. From her children's baptismal records, she may have had two brothers Michael and James, and also a sister Johana. Since her husband’s name was also Kerley, they may be related to him. She married Cornelius Kerley 29 Aug 1855 in St Patrick Catholic Church in Limerick city. From the birth records of the children, her maiden name was Kerley, the same as her married name. The children's names and birthdays are Catherine 1856, James Joseph 1858, Jane 1860, Patrick 1862, Denis 1864, John Joseph 1867 (my great grandfather), Michael John 1870. The most detailed information about their place of birthplace is Ballysimon, Annacotty, Limerick, Ireland. I believe all were baptized at St Patrick’s.
Hanora died 22 Mar 1910.
