Julia Shea was born about 1842, and married Cornelius Riordan (Reardon) on 12 Apr 1869 in RC Parish of Dromtariffe townland of Boulimore. They had five children all baptized in Dromtariffe Parish:
Daniel bap. 21 Sept 1869, died of encephlitis in Boulimore, RC parish Dromtariffe
Margaret bap. 4 Apr 1871, died of consumption in Boulimore, RC Parish of Dromtariffe
Timothy bap. 19 July 1873
Denis bap. 20 Jun 1875
Catherine bap. 16 Sep 1877, died of consumption in Crinnaloo, RC Parish of Dromtariffe
Cornelius Riordan died of heart disease in Crinnaloo on 22 Aug 1893. Julia and her two surviving sons, Tim and Denis immigrated to Lake County, Illinois in February 1896.
