She lived in Bridgeport, Connecticut; married John Golden in 1897 and had 5 children.

Please note: I am now unsure that she is my correct Mary Sullivan! All of my research was based on information received from my father's cousin, born to Mary Sullivan's brother Eugene Sullivan. Eugene and my father's mother Mary were supposed to be siblings! My cousin's mother was Mary O'Sullivan and she died when my cousin was just 9 years old. So all of the information I received was from her. At some point I got Mary O'Sullivan Sullivan's death certificate and her parents listed were MY Mary Sullivan's parents! So Eugene listed his parents as his wife's parents? I have never been able to find a birth record for Eugene or 2 other brothers my Mary was supposed to have!

I am not sure if my Mary Sullivan was born 29 May 1871, the daughter of Patrick Sullivan and Mary Shea of CoraBeg

Mary Sullivan born 28 May 1877, the daughter of Patrick Sullivan and Honora (Ann) Daly of West Cool

The first is based on the information I was given by my father's cousin, daughter of Eugene Sullivan whose birth or baptism I have not been able to find who is supposed to be my grandmother's brother.

The second is based on the fact that on EVERY document where my grandmother recorded her age, it was based on a birth year of 1877! Her death certificate shows a birth date of 29 May 1877, with parents listed as Patrick Sullivan and Mary Daily (sic).

I had heard the name Shea all of my life from my aunts. I had also heard that we were related to Dalys, But the death certificate is the first time I had seen Daly as my grandmother's mother's name.
