* 1897 On 02 January he married Mary Noonan
* 1899 He had been awarded a pension from the parish of 8/- per month and in February this was increased to 20/- per month.  On 19 September he died of old age at  21 Seaton Place, St. Helier, Jersey, Channel Islands and was buried in Almorah Cemetery St. Helier, Jersey, Channel Islands on 22 September.
