Born about 1775 in Clashmore. Immigrated to Tilting Harbour, Newfoundland (now part of Canada) before 1803, when his daughter Ellen was born. Reportedly one of three or four brothers who immigrated around the same time, known locally as *the Clashmore boys." Likely involved in the fishery. Surname eventually morphed into Reardon.
