William H Jordan was born in 1838 in Ireland. His parents were Thomas and Catherine. He married Ellen Sullivan on November 24, 1872, in Nantucket, Massachusetts. They had seven children, William Henry, Mary E, John Joseph, Ellen, Daniel Joseph ,James F, and Charles J during their marriage. He died in 1909 at the age of 71.
Most of his life was lived in Woonsocket, Providence Rhode Island and worked in a woolen mill.
