A snapshot of local history from the Cholera Epidemic in Ireland (1832-33).

CHOLERA IN CLARE Has again appeared.

The Reports for the 8th, 9th, and 10th, do not present one new case. There remain in hospital three under treatment. The total number of cases were 171, deaths 77.

Milltown is yet free from Cholera. There are a great number at the Hotel, and only two Lodges vacant, and even those were occupied until the last week.

The non-intercourse system is very rigidly kept up in some of the country towns, and not one on any pretence is suffered to remain, if they happen come from any infected district.
