I am interested in obtaining information on the Armstrong family. The information I have is as follows. Female wife was Eliza Jane Armstrong I do not know husband name. Children were, Edward and Alexander (could be more children not sure) Alexander married Agnes (n?e name unknown) in Ireland they had one child (William Alexander Armstrong) born in Belfast Ireland August 4th 1911. To my knowledge (guessing) Eliza Jane (mother) Edward (Son) Alexander (Son) and Agnes (daughter in law) and child William came to Canada between 1912 and 1914 Alexander (Son of Eliza) and Agnes had 2 more children once in Winnnipeg Canada. Thomas James (Tommy) in 1914 or 1915 and Lila (daughter) couple year later both were born in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada Eliza Jane Armstrong passed circa 1943 Winnipeg Manitoba Canada
The Armstrong family lived on Fleet Street in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada
(The writer ) I am the youngest daughter of Thomas James (grandson of Eliza). Therefore I would be the great Grandaughter of Eliza. Hoping to hear from someone in the near future

What may be William Armstrong?s birth in Belfast in 1911 was registered Jul - Sept 1911, Volume 1, page 297.
I suspect this may be Alexander Armstrong and his wife Mary (McCormick). Their marriage was registered in Belfast July ? Sept 1910 Vol 1, page 348.

You can order a photocopy from GRO Roscommon for ?4 per certificate. Put the place, year, quarter (where there is one), volume & page number on the application form (anywhere). Don?t worry about leaving some boxes blank. You don?t need to fill them all in if you have the reference details. http://www.groireland.ie/ You have to post or fax the form to them but they will e-mail the copy certificate to you if you wish.
