My name is Rosalyn MacMIllan, nee Price. My mother is Moira McBride her mother was Nora Fitzgerald from ballindereen  in Gallway. She married Daniel McBride from Co Tyrone. I believe that the family you are enquiring about are also relatives of my mothers from her mothers side. I have recently received some correspondence in regards to Augustine Fitgerald. My mother lives in Glasgow now and is the last one of her family. There was originally 8 of them. They were all born in Plumbridge, co Tyrone but all moved around the country  and my mother and one brother moved to Scotland. I have met some of the family at funerals and always meant to keep in touch. ( it helps if you can remember people's names lol) I do remember Pat Fitzgerald and his daughter.

Anyway I would love to hear from anyone of the family.

Hi I've just come across your post. Hanoria Fitzgerald born 1874 in Ballindeoreen was my great great grandmother.

She married Thomas Cloran and had two children Thomas and Mary and lived in Church St Gort Co Galway.

They ran a pub in Church St Gort.

She died a month after Mary was born and Thomas remarried Kate Fahy from New Quay in Co Clare.

They had a son Michael John and Thomas died soon after in 1910.

Both Thomas and Mary were fostered out when their father died and Thomas was sent to live in New Quay with the Fahys and Mary was sent to live with the Silke family who were relatives of Hanoria Fitzgeralds.

I would love to hear anymore history of the family as I've just tracked this part of the family down .
