My husband's Gt Grandmother Brigid Clune arrived in Victoria(Australia) with her sister Cath in 1869, On the shipping record she is listed as 18 and Cath 17. Brigid marries Robert Irving also in 1869. She dies in 1911 aged 64. On the Australian Death Index it says her father was Patrick Clune and mother Ann Marany.
Bridget Clune is a fairly common Irish name so the chances of discovering whereabouts in the County she came from are probably low.

I searched on the subscription site FindMyPast.ie and came up with a lead for you although I was not able to find a baptismal record for Bridget Clune. In the Quin RC parish records I found a number of children where the parents were Patrick Clune and Anne Meaney.
Mary baptized February 9 1836
Honora baptized November 1838
Margaret baptized December 20 1845
Catherine baptized in July 1848
Michael baptized August 13 1854
Here is a link to the parish register https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0774 It is possible that Bridget's entry was hard to decipher and therefor not transcribed or the priest failed to record the record. It is also possible this is the wrong family.

Hello Roger
Thank you for following up my query on FMP. I will investigate this family further but as I've not heard any suggestion my husband's Brigid was a Catholic it might be
as you suggest a different family. I have hopes that his AncestryDNA sample may one day direct us to the right family.
