Here’s some information on Carlow workhouse The Board of Guardian’s minutes from 1845 are apparently held by Carlow Library. Those minutes (weekly management meetings) sometimes mention staff employed there by name. They records are unlikely to be on-line and so you may need to get someone to go through them for you.
