Hi Iam trying to trace my Irish Ancestry. My father Charles Peter Ryan was born in South Africa in 1915 or 1916, he has a sister Betty (Elizabeth?) and two brothers Cecil and Thomas.
His father also Charles Peter emigrated from Ireland to South Africa, possibly between 1900 and 1915. Unfortunately I have no other information.

There were 67 Charles Ryans in the 1901 census for all of Ireland but no listings for a Charles Peter Ryan. Assuming you have an approximate year of birth, you may be able to narrow down the possibilities.
