Common Emmigration Pattern from Duncormick?

Hello,

I "lose" my family from Duncormick after Griffith's Valuation in 1853. There are no vital records for any of them after that in Duncormick, and they are nowhere to be found in the 1901 census.  If they did NOT emigrate to the USA, is there a common place where most Duncormick families went?  Dublin? Belfast? England? Scotland? Canada? Australia? Or all of the above? I am hoping you can point me in the right direction for where they might have gone, hopefully, by telling me where other families from that area might have gone.  Thank you in advance.  Ellen
