Daniel Leo was born in County Clare in 1735. In  1786 he married   Letitia Davis in London. She was one of the heiresses of the Llannerch Estate in Denbighshire and Gwysaney Hall in Flintshire North Wales. He was a member of Dunlops Jamaica Militia. He and his wife were active in the social life of Bath England. He and his wife who predeceased him were childless. After his death in 1803 his executors advertised for next of Kin.  The contents of Llannerch Hall where he died were auctioned in 1803. I am looking for details of his parents and family in Ireland. Thank you. Gill

  • Gill, There is a Post by "Mandy" on this Site, dated July 2017 and dealt with by Roger McDonnell. It is in relation to the family named "Leo" in Bruff, Co. Limerick. It may be of assistance to you. Nothing found on www.clarelibrary.ie for a Daniel Leo in the time period you are researching. Regards,

    McCoy
