Dickson, John

Greetings,

I am looking for assitance in finding my ancestors' town or Village in Galway.  Family Search records indicate John Dickin (possible Dickson) was the father of the groom on 04 Feb 1867.

The groom was Martin Dickin b 1822 and bride was Bridget Clasby b 1844.

 Event place was Gort, Galway, Ireland.

I am looking for another John Dickson born in 1811 and married in 1843 to Honora (Hannah) Gavin.

I am  hoping John b 1811 could be the brother of Martin and John the father of room is their father.  I know the Dickson family came from County Galway but have not been able to find any records.
