My least known family history is from Ireland.

Our 3 x great grandparents were living in Longford, presumably born in the area, when Michael Donnelly was convicted of perjury in Trim and transported to Australia in 1845. His wife Bridget Green appealed the verdict and later with their two sons joined him in Tasmania in1851. I know from Michael's prison records he had a mother Mary and sister Mary Ann Donnelly. He was a sawyer and living in Ballinalee at the time of his conviction. If anyone has any information about Michael and Bridget and their extended family I would be very grateful to know. Our DNA matches show a lot of Farrells in Longford but we cannot link them or any Donnellys to our tree.

The parish register for Clonbroney RC parish on the National Library of Ireland site has records starting in 1849 for baptisms and 1854 for marriages which is too late for your interests.   https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0154   The subscrption site Roots Ireland indicates that they have Clonbroney records back to 1828 but my searches for a marriage record or baptismal records for children were all unsuccessful.

There are no Farrell/Donnelly marriages in Clonbroney on Roots Ireland. There are some marriages in other parishes.

Let me know if you have any questions.
