Hello, I'm currently looking for information on my 5th Great-Grandfather Enoch FitzHenry. He was born in May 1752 in Dublin, Armagh Co, Ireland. He was taken and put on a boat while he walked to school one morning at the age of 13/14. I would like to know any information I could obtain. Who were his parents/family members? One thing that I find interesting is we have a coat of arms and I'm very interested to find out how a family would obtain one of these. Thank you for your time

Dear Mick
Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out and apologies for the delay in getting back to you.
It would be difficult to provide much more information about Enoch given the early period of your search but someone may be researching the family and that will be the best way to find out more. Have you trie searching for the family name of Ancestry.com family trees and messages? I take it you know about this site:

I would have thought, given the unique first name that all of the Enoch Fitzhenry entries I have found would be related to each other in some way.
Griffith's Valuation list three entries: http://www.askaboutireland.ie/griffith-valuation/index.xml?action=doNameSearch&Submit.x=49&Submit.y=18&Submit=Submit&familyname=Fitzhenry&firstname=Enoch&baronyname=&countyname=&unionname=&parishname=
Irish Genealogy lists a burial on 8th March 1856 in St. George?s Church of Ireland parish, Dublin. The address listed was Whitworth Hospital. This was a fever hospital the 1850s and the 1890s. This will give you some more information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drumcondra_Hospital
I hope that someone researching the family will get in touch
Best wishes
