Hello if anyone knows anything of the family and descedants of Andrew E Sheridan born 3rd feb 1878 at st finbarrs I would be grateful to hear of it. I know there was a brother edwin or edward who resided in London and may have been older. Andrew served in the Royal Navy and Australian Navy and died in 1928. I am looking to see if any family members still reside in Ireland. Andrew had three daughters Alice, dorothy and Ivy. - I know their descedants in UK Canada & Australia - Thank you

There are 61 birth/baptism records of Sheridans in Cork but no Andrews on www.rootsireland.ie/ (pay site)
All 61 records are from North & East Cork so St Finbars Parish is not in the list!
I had better luck on www.irishgenealogy.ie/ (which is free)

Parents are Andrew Sheridan and Mary Lane
There is 1 other on that site with the same parents Thomas born 29/2/1876 St Finbarrs
Back on rootsireland there are 3 children with these parents:
Elizabeth 1886 Catherine 1888 & John Patrick 1891
In spite of going through all the parishes a couple of times I couldn't get the parish of these records!!

There are 11 Sheridans in the Tithe Applotments 1823-37 (free online) but no Andrew
For current Sheridans there is the Irish phone book but eircom doesn't seem to work any more!
