I'm hoping to find more information about my paternal ancestor Felin O'Neil, baptised 6 Jul 1828 in Clonoe. His parents were Felin and Mary O'Neil (O'Neill). It appears that he was married to Penelope Sullivan on 23 Nov 1845 in Oughterard, Co. Galway.

Thank you, Jane. I've received some excellent information, including a baptismal lead for Felin (or Felix) O'Neill from Loughrea, which is a more likely origin for him than the more distant Clonoe, Tyrone. Much appreciated!
