The subscription site Roots Ireland has a June 7th 1855 baptismal record for a Daniel Egan in the Shanagolden RC parish in Co. Limerick, Father was Michael Egan and mother Maria Hogan. There were seven older siblings who were all baptized in the neighboring RC parish of Kilcolman and Coolcappa: James 1830 Margaret 1835 Michael 1838 Mariam 1841 John 1843 Bridget 1846 Patrick 1848.

There is always the possibility of two couples in the general area named Michael Egan and Maria/Mary Hogan so are you aware of siblings that your Daniel Egan had?

I was able to verify Patrick on another tree with similar but not all the siblings. So this is good. Only discrepancy is birth date but could be a typo on the naturalization form or poor memory at time. Now I need to work on his Father, Michael Egan born May 18, 1810 in Limerick.
