My GGG Grandparents lived and died in the townland of Tullohea.  Their names are James and Mary Lynch (nee Nugent).  Mary died in 1866.  Can anyone tell me where this couple is buried.

  • Hi Frank . .

    Welcome to I.R.O. . . .

I began my search ... on Roots Ireland (paid search site) and . . quite amazing . .

I believe I can possibly help

    ( see below )

It is my guess . . that this is your Mary Lynch . . . registered death in Kilsheelan
    . . (map below)

Kilsheelan Parish was .. most likely .. the nearest place of burial ... at that time.

    I did a search (Roots)... for a Marriage . . .dated 1830 +/- 10 years . . for that County and region . . Nothing.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Looked at 1901 Census . . . too many Lynches . . .
unless those of Kiloscully .. are decendants . .

    So . . Frank . . best I could do for you . .
    Keep searching . . .

    Cheers . . Eamonn.
