  • Hi,

The attached may be of interest.

Subscription site  www.findmypast.ie has a record of the death of  a James Harrison in Tulla which shows 1888 as the year of death. Unable to find the record on Irish Genealogy!

1847 and 1849 record a James Harrison in Miltown Malbay and Ennistymon.

Tulla Church of Ireland records may have be able to help.

There are a number of reports in the Clare Journal which I will check out later.

    Regards,

  • Further to previous post, a Patt Harrison is recorded in the Tithe Records in 1826 in the townland of Tyredagh Upper, Tulla.  A James Harrison and a Martin Harrison are recorded in the same townland in the early 1850's - Printed 1855.

In the Will of John Harrison, parish of Kilnoe, there is mention of a Mary Bolton who is his sister. Copy of this Will - 4 pages - can be downloaded at subscription site www.findmypast.ie. John Harrison appears to have married a Johanna Walsh in May 1853 and died in April 1855

    - Executor Sale - See Clare Journal - May 1858 (Not 1861) Column 2 - attached

Could this "Mary Bolton" be the person you are seeking?

She apparently married a "James Halpin".

    Regards,
