I am looking to find any birth records marrage records  or Immigration records for James Jennings Ancestry.com DNA indicates that he was born around Eyercourt Galway 1825 .

  • Dear Mike C:  Thank you for your post to the Ireland Reaching Out message board.  The Roots Ireland website which is a subscription site has 2 listings for a James Jennings. 

    1.  James Jennings baptised 5 August 1823 in Tuam parish.  Parents were:  Denis Jennings and Sarah Connelly.  Sponsor was Eleanor Connelly.  The page for the register is available online through the National Library of Ireland website.  

    2.  James Jennings baptised 5 January 1824 in Loughrea parish.  His date of birth was noted as 1 January 1824.  His parents were:  Michael Jennings and Ellen Morris.  His sponsors were:  Willliam Morris and Mary Dwyer.  These records are not available online through the National Library.

  • Hi Jane , Sorry for the late reply , it's been a little busy over here in North West New Jersey . I am compiling a history of both my Great grandfather 

    James Jennings Borne on Sep 1841  Ireland    and my Grandmother who was  Annie Agnes Duggan was born in May 1874 in Ireland.  She Arrived in New York in 1883 /1884 at the age of 10 .. I am looking up additional info .
