Hello,
I’m trying to find out what town James Kelleher was from in Ireland.
Born Feb. 2, 1825 about
Died June 23, 1905 Milford Ct.
Father. Dennis Kelleher
Mother Ellen ( Murphy ) Kelleher
I believe he emigrated about 1845 to the port in New York where his name was changed by immigration officials to James Kaylor.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like James was younger then your records or there was another James Kelliher with father Denis and mother Ellen Murphy. See the record below that I located on the free site www.irishgenealogy.ie Kilorglin is a large town and civil parish in Co. Kerry. The townland would Glannagilliagh which is a very large townland (almost 1000 acres) in Killorglin civil parish.
