Searching for my great grandfather, Jim McGookin, a British Soldier who died in India of "the fever"  c, 1881-1882. The Londonderry Royal Garrison Artillery Miltia listed two men with names similar to my great grandfather's name: James McGuckin, born Balinderry, Londonderry and James McGuigan, born Dungiven, Londonderry. Looking for someone who has information about either of these men which might help me determine whether one of them is the man I am looking for. I don't know where or when my great grandfather was born. His daughter was born in 1879, but her never married her mother. Thank you.
