Greetings! I had previously submitted messages regarding my Sarsfield ancestors who were living in Stradbally in the 1830's, and Abbeyside in the early 1840's. During some recent research I discovered some additional Sarsfield names from Stradbally and Abbeyside that had identical records (first names, spouses, dates, etc), however the last name was listed as Archfield. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thank you!

The Book of Irish Families, Great and Small by Michael C. o'Laughlin notes that Archfield is a variation of the name Sarsfield.
