I am looking for any information on these families.
Jane Sheil mother of Maria Rath. Maria Rath married Edward Earl on August 18, 1865 in County Carlow
I know Maria Rath and Edward Earl lived in Killedmond, Ireland and had 12 children there most of the children emmigrated to America. I think only 3 stayed in Ireland and 1 daughter died young.
If anyone could add any information that would be great. Thank you.

I located the civil marriage index record for Maria and Edward. Since they were married in the Enniscorthy registration district, Maria likely was living in the civil parish of Barragh or Moyacomb because these two parishes were the only Carlow parishes within the Enniscorthy district. I searched for a Rath in the Griffiths Valuation for Co. Carlow and there were none. There was a William Rath in Johnstown townland in Moyacomb Co. Wexford just across the border.
Do you know Maria's fathers name? What was their religion?
