I'm looking for information about John Joseph O'Brien born +/- 1889 in Mayo. He emigrated to Canada around 1907 with my grandfather, Roger Joseph Macaulay (same age).
The two of them left tracks in Windsor, Walkersville, London, Woodstock and Hamilton all in the Province of Ontario.
My grandfather enlisted in the Canadian Expeditionary Force in October 1915 and was demobilized in April 1919.
It appears that the two boys left Ireland together and stayed together at least until my grandfather's enlistment.
