Looking for me 2nd Great Grandfather John Alexander ? William ? QUIRK, Born c. 1835 in supposedly Dublin. John listed his parents as John QUIRK ( Soldier) born Dublin and Mary LOUGHLAN also born Dublin.
Ive spent nearly 29 years looking for this bloke and so far nothing :( no prents, no siblings, nothing :(
John Married another Irish Girl named Elizabeth CORCORAN, Born 1843 at Ballycahill, Tipperary. They Married 1865 in Kyneton, Victoria, Australia.

There’s a baptismal record at rootsireland for a Mary Quirke, born to Mary Loughlan and John Quirke in Midleton parish, Cork on 26 April 1837. I hope this is helpful.
