Frances (Fanny) Gaynor born 4 Mar 1979 was the daughter of John Gaynor and Ellen Egan. Frances married Thomas Keary in Ballynarcargy on 28 Jun 1896 and a daughter Bridget Keary was born 13 Apr 1907. Frances died 22 Aug 1948 and Thomas Keary died 9 Oct 1940 and daughter Bridget was witness to her parents’ deaths.
Bridget Keary married on 21 Jan 1938 to Patrick Burke of Emper who was born 17 Oct 1907, the son of Michael Burke and Mary Maloney. Bridget’s husband Patrick Burke died on 8 Aug 1940, but I can’t find a death for Bridget Burke. Bridget was the granddaughter of Ellen Egan and I suspect that this Ellen could have been the sister of my great grandfather William Egan who came to Australia with his mother Lucinda. Hoping that someone might recognise this family and would be willing to exchange some family history with me. Thank You Marie

Civil death record images on the free site www.irishgenealogy.ie are only available thru 1966 because of the 50 year rule for privacy reasons. Possibly Bridget Burke died after 1966 which would explain not finding her death record. We expect that the 1967 records will be added to the site in the near future.
