Lokking for Siblings of Thomas Gannon

Hi Again,

I wonder what source you have for Michael Gannon having married a Mary McGrath.If this is so then  both Michael and his son Thomas married Mary McGraths.Could you be mistaken?

I sent to  you earlier that  I could only find one record of a Thomas Gannon being born in Longford around 1850 ( actually 1846)with a father called  Michael Gannon.This was on a previous query of yours.If I am right  that this is your GGF Thomas then Thomas's mother was A Farrell.

If this is right then we can see that he had at least three siblings older brother  William (1845)younger sister Elizabeth(1853) (  link to Lizzie note the mother's name  A  Farrell A for Ann Lizzie A makes some sense  ) and younger brother John (1857)

I also believe that Elizabeth died in1856 aged 3 (death cert for Elizabeth Gannon same parish)

Interesting to note that they had no children during the height of the famine and that two of his three siblings names turn up in his children's names.
