All the children born in Bury, Lancashire, England (1881 England Census), all emigrated together in  April 9, 1890 (New York passenger List), all die in the USA (Ancestry & personal knowledge) except Michael: 1st daughter Mary 1869, 1st Son Michael 1871-1878, 2nd daughter Ann 1874, 3rd daughter Julia, 2nd son Patrick 1877. 4th daughter Catherine 1883.

So far,  I can't really tell if i have the correct parents for my ancestor John Deegan and if the siblings are correct.  Ann Deegan marries William Lusk and emigrants to Pennsylvania, USA. The others apparently live and die in Bury, Lanshire, England.
can you help?

I checked the subscription site Roots Ireland and there is no 1833 marriage record for Patrick Deegan and Mary Anne Phelan and there are no baptismal records available for children of that couple.

Kilminchy is a townland in Straboe civil parish and the related RC parish is Portlaoise.

I reviewed the July 1917 census search form completed by Ann Deegan  http://censussearchforms.nationalarchives.ie/reels/c19/007246697/007246…

The form shows parents Patrick and Mary Deegan as parents. No mention of Phelan that I can see. It appears the government clerks searched the 1851 census for Kilminchy and in the left margin is annotated John, William, Ann and Marie. On the right margin is annotated Try a couple townlands in Curraclone civil parish (Inch and Ballykilcavan).  Not sure what this means. Was the family in Kilminchy not the correct family?

My searches of Deegan baptismal records with parents Patrick and Mary are not turning up the childrens names you have in your notes.

Any additional info to share. Have you located John's death record?
