Looking for families of Tobias Kelleher and Catherine Mary Mulvey

I went to www.rootsireland.ie and searched for a baptismal record for Tobias Kelleher but couldn't find one anywhere in the country.  If he was born in 1792 as you say, then there is a good chance that there wont be a record of his baptism.  Very very few church records go back this far.  Most records start around 1830, and some churches even later than that.  Civil registration began in 1864.

I found a marriage record for a Tobias Kelleher marrying a Catherine Mulvey in 1830.  This record shows up on two counties, Waterford and Tipperary.  However when you look at the records they are both recorded in Ardfinnan Co Tipperary.  You will often see records straddling two counties.

You will have to register with this site (free)  and pay abut €5 to purchase the record.  Hopefully this will give their fathers' names.
