Searching for a possible connection to my 2x great grandmother, Rose Rogers. I found her in an entry in the Emigrant Savings Bank records for 1853 on Ancestry along with a Margaret Rogers, living at the same address. I'm assuming they are sisters. In the description column for Margaret of the bank record is the following information:

"Native of Croskeeona, 5 mi from Dungannon, Co. Tyrone, Ireland. Arrived NY in Apr '48, per the Eliza Kate from Liverpool. Parents home, father Hugh, mother Margaret Tally. 3 brothers, Pat in ???Burgh, Owen & Jno in Ireland, 3 sisters Rosey ????, Bridget & Alice in Ireland; is Single." Image attached.

So someone helped with the townland name and came up with Crosskavna (original), Crosscavanagh (now).

I have Rosey's (Rose) death cert and on it is listed as father 'Hugh', no mother. So I'm trying to see if this is a valid lead. Trying to find if Margaret Tally is Rose's mother.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!
