I am new to forgive my faux pas.  I am looking for Michael(us) Lennon (1814-1883) and his wife Jane Walsh (1801?-?). I know very little about them except they were born and died in Ireland.   They had a son Thomas A. Lennon Sr. (1835-1908) about whom I have documentation.  Thomas was born 15 Sep 1835, Parish of St Peter's, Cornafulla, Athlone and Drum, Roscommon, Ireland.  He immigrated to the USA in 1849, lived in Michigan, and died there.

Michael Lennon and Jane Walsh are identified as his parents on his death certificate.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not having a lot of success with Michael Lennon and Jane Walsh. I searched the subscription site Roots Ireland and did not find any marriage record for the couple. Also did not find any baptismal records for their children including Thomas in 1835. I also searched the St. Peter's Athlone and Drum parish register and Thomas is not shown on September 15 1835.

Can you elaborate on your source for the baptismal record?

I did find a Michael Lennon listed in Cornafulla townland in the 1855 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Drum civil parish.

I did not find an 1883 civil death record for Michael Lennon but I did locate an 1889 record for an 80 year old Michael Lennon who lived in Drum, The informant was his daughter Bridget Fahey. Did your Michael Lennon have a daughter named Bridget Fahey. See eighth record at the link.  https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_retu…

I did not find a death record for Jane Lennon on Roots Ireland despite the fact that St. Peter's Athlone has death records back to 1789.

I found an 1872 civil marriage record for a Bridget Lennon who married a John Fahey. Bridget's father was Michael and she lived in Kilmocolmock townland in Drum civil parish. Possibly this is your family.

Sorry for the multiple messages. I searched Roots Ireland for Bridget Lennon baptismal records in St. Peter's with father Michael Lennon. There were two leads.

Brigid Lennon baptized November 16 1841 father Michael Lennon mother Bridget (no last name provided)

Brigid Lennon baptized April 17 1843 father Michael Lennon mother Mary Goonan. One of the sponsors was a Rose Walsh

I checked and found four other siblings to the Brigid Lennon in 1843 with father Michael Lennon and mother Mary Goonan. The siblings were John 1833 Malachy 1835 Thomas baptized August 15 1838 and James 1847

I'm wondering if this is your ancestral family?
