Hello
I am trying to find the parents of my great great grandfather. He was Lawrence Ryan, born Sep 17, 1815 in Muckalee, Damerstown, Kilkenney, Ireland. He was Roman Catholic.
He married Anna Butler born Jan 06, 1825 in Pleberstown, Thomastown, Kilkenny Ireland, on Oct 25, 1842 in Syracuse, NY, USA
Lawrence Ryan immigrated to the United States or Canada in 1834-1835, I believe he came over by himself from Liverpool on April 14, 1834,on a ship called Barque Asia
I would think that his parents are buried in a Catholic Cemetery in Damerstown. I am unfamiliar with the cemeteries in the area.
His first two sons were named Joseph and John. And his first daughters were named Maggie (Margaret) and then Mary.
