Malone family

Dear Ireland XO Community in Lisdoonvarna

My great grandfather, John Malone, emigrated to Victoria, Australia in the early 1850's. He was born in Lisdoonvarna circa 1824-1830. His parents were James Malone and Bridget Quinn. John was married in South Melbourne, Victoria in 1858 to Ann Burns (or Byrnes) who was also from Lisdoonvarna. Her parents were Ellen Neagle and Edward (or Edmund) Burns (or Byrnes).

My efforts to research the details of my great, great grandparents in Lisdoonvarna have not been very fruitful. Hence I am reaching out to this XO community. I would dearly love to connect with anyone who may know some of the history of the Malone family in that region.
