Margaret Geagan Knocktoby

The only information I have on a Margaret Geagan is that my granduncle Patrick Connolly married a Margaret Geagan from Kilkeedy, Tubber. He was from Sonnagh, Kilchreest(parish of Kilnadeema) That record is in the Gort parish records. They married in 1910. They lived in Gort and appeared to have had no children. They are buried in Kilmacduagh cemetary. They died in 1936 and 1938. From what I have learned he was a carpenter and master craftsman and was employed by WB Yeats in the restoration of Thoor Ballylee. She was a confectioner and I believe she had a shop in Gort. There is a woman living in a nursing home in Kilcolgan who may be a relation and she may have some information. I keep meaning to go and visit her. She is quiet elderly now. I got all this information from Sr. de Lourdes Fahy in Gort. She is fantastic. Tel number for Convent is 091-631069. She may be able to help you. I have been in contact with PP in Tubber/Kilkeedy and it would appear that there were a number of Geagan families in that area. I would like to find out more about Margaret Geagan. If you do happen to find out anything and if your Margaret and mine are the same could you let me know.
