Hi there does anyone know if a baptism record exists for my great grandfather, William Michael Quirke born in 1848 in Limerick? His father was Thomas QuirkE. His wife was Ellen Maud Grace.

    There is a record on  www.rootsireland.ie - subscription site - of the baptism of a Michael William Quirke in St. Michael's R.C. Church, Limerick on June 11th 1848. Father: Thomas Quirke - Mother: Kate Morrissey. The the name "Quirke" is common in the Limerick/ Tipperary area.
