mariage date and parish of my ancestry

I searched www.rootsireland.ie for the marriage but no luck

I then searched for their births and found that there were records for each from Kilkenny

Elizabeth was from Clara RC parish and and there is a John from there too but the name is WALSH

Given illiteracy and transcription errors there is a good chance this may be your man.

Of course this is all assuming they grew up in the same parish!

You need to purchase credit to view the full record whic MAY have the parents' names.

You might want to check the Tithe Applotments

There are Dunns & Welshes in Kilkenny but none in the same parishes as far as my old eyes could see.
